References From Past Hunters

Let me first say to any of my clients that I may have put on this list without their consent, please feel free to yell at me if this is something that you do not want on here; but as all of you know, you pretty much signed your life away on our waiver and consent form when you decided to hunt with us! But seriously, I didn’t contact any of you in advance and for that I apologize to everyone involved, with so many rip off internet deals out there, people are often asking to talk to other hunters so I compiled this for any of our new hunters benefit. If you’re a new hunter looking this over, please feel free to call the guys on this list, I am guessing that all would love to talk goose hunting for a while; however some are very busy individuals, Dr.’s, Bankers and Attorneys and such, if there is a Dentist or Banker though feel free to try to contact them on a day off, just pick a day, any day will do. Just kidding, but the truth is only a couple of these guys would expect a call, probably very few are going to return your calls on their dime; but all will talk about goose hunting with us somewhere in the Midwest, for this list though I believe I mostly have snow goose hunters. Anyway, tell them I told you to call first and they won’t have a problem talking with you, if they do, you let me know and I will get you somebody who wants to talk goose hunting with you and I will take them out of their spot. Not really. Just keep trying until you get somebody. PHONE NUMBERS UPDATED AS OF 11/10/2009, most hunters hunted this last season. Scott,
My son and I had a great time on our snow goose hunt. We would like to especially thank your guide Clay for his dedication to both the sport and to his clients. The accommodations were very nice and the food was prepared by some of the nicest people we have had the pleasure to meet. Of course none of this would be possible but for your commitment to a quality hunt and ensuring that your hunters receive only the best when it comes to comfort and hunting opportunities.
We hope to see you and your outstanding crew again next year.

Hi Scott,
After returning home from our spring snow goose hunt. I found it very important to write you about the feelings of everyone I bring out to hunt with you.
Scott, we spend our lives, dealing with people who have just had their worst day of their lives. We come to you in hopes of killing a few geese, but more important to have the time of our lives. Well trust me Sir, we do just that. I am sure you know from the stories you hear from your guides, who by the way love us. Ha.
I have been hunting waterfowl all my life. 99% of the time on my own. I can tell you this with all honesty if you were ever booked up or for some reason could not take us we would not come.
You, work ethic is top shelf, your guides are such that once you spend an hour with become part of the circle of friends who are hunting. I cannot imagine, anyone who could ask for more. You know after all the fooling around, we even managed to kill a bunch of geese, even in the worst of conditions mother nature could throw at us.
Please feel free to use this letter as a reference in anyway you wish. New customers who would like to contact us. Our Fire Departments Web sites are on the Internet.
Thank You

Scott,
I just wanted to drop you a note to say that the guys (Dave & Tony), and myself had a great time hunting down in Missouri . We all shot more birds than we typically shoot in an entire season of duck hunting. I cant say enough about the guides that we were set up with, Alex, and Clay both top notch guys. Were already planning our return trip for next year.
Thanks

Hello Scott,
Just wanted to take a second and say thanks for everything and all of the hard work you and your staff put in. We had fun once again...especially on Sunday. I've attached a group photo from that day for you. Hope you've been putting a bunch of them on the ground this week and will be in the upcoming week as well.
Thanks again and good luck in the remainder of this season,
Matt matthewgg@hotmail.com
Thanks for the come back. I just want to say up front, I have been on many hunts in my life and I put your operation up on the top!
Everything was taken care of, the guides knew their stuff and you had really good excellent sets. Anybody that doesn't understand you don't control the weather, doesn't need to be hunting. We had a blast and can only imagine what it would have been like if we had been fortunate to have good weather!
Just a note, my son called Easter Morning, yesterday, and was safely in Washington State, home from Iraq. He has to go to Hawaii for 30 days and then home to Oklahoma. I had sent him some of the goose hunting pics while he was over there and he got all excited, couldn't believe it! Anyway, Kim took some really nice shots in the field and I will send you some in a few days, will just mail them to your home.
Put us down for the second weekend in March, arriving Friday, hunt Sat-Monday-check out Tuesday. Our own field. Staying at the lodge, that is great with us. They were wonderful and just good people, great food. Nuff said!
Just let me know how much deposit to send and we will send it your way.
Thanks again Scott,

 | I have been to Mound City and have hunted with other outfitters and we had never had the experience that we had with you. What a awesome hunt, it was unbelievable seeing the big flocks tornado over and work into our set. It really did something to me. I have never seen anything like it, I'll be back again! |

"I have hunted with guides in almost all 50 states, for all North American waterfowl, and this is the best guided hunt I have ever been on in my lifetime!” 2/23-26/07, as told to my guide and guests- For the record his best day was 54 or something I think and his worst was 2 or 3 and he is a serious waterfowler, who does not exaggerate who has been on a vast amount of guided hunts and even with such a low day he still was in awe of his 4 day hunt. We are very appreciating of his thoughts and obviously acknowledge his sheer genius, especially considering the weather conditions, during his stay. Seriously we do, he‘s one brilliant cookie in our eyes!

Dear Scott,
I want to thank you for the awesome opportunity you allowed me over the Spring Goose Season. What an absolute blast I had with you and your guys! It was truly the opportunity of a lifetime and I will never forget it. The things that I saw, learned and the work that I did, was very gratifying, not to mention just plain fun. You wore me out; but I doubt if I will ever have the same opportunity again and for that I thank you. You and your guys made me feel like an old friend and I can't tell you enough how much fun this kid from South Carolina had or what a great bunch of "yankees" that you have working for you. I hope to see and spend time with you again whacking a bunch more birds. Until then I will be busy in medical school thinking of all those cold mornings and warm afternoons with my gun by my side waiting for you to say, "kill'em". But for now it’s back to 6 years of medical school. Until we meet again old friend, tell the "guys" I said, "Hey ya'll " and good luck this fall. If there is ever anything I can do for you, just let me know.
Sincerely,
Ray Comer 803.417.7040
